Arlene started playing the piano at the age of 7, as she took her formal training at the Yamaha School of Music, Later she became a scholar of the Lucia Francisco Music Circle in U.P.Diliman, Quezon City. Majoring in Piano at the UST Conservatory of Music, she also teaches piano in her spare time and arranges piano pieces for beginners as well as the intermediate level. Her influences include David Foster, Carl Doy, Richard Clayderman, and David Benoit. Having an extensive experience of performing with a band and solo piano acts on gigs and events, she developed her own musical style, have done renditions of piano instrumentals, broadened her repertoire ranging from standards, pop jazz, ballads and familiar original Filipino music.
